| This early hinged steel book was inspired by a trip in South Africa during the 1994 elections. "The cover" of the book shows a map of South Africa which points out place I have visited. Its imagery includes silhouettes of human figures drawn ionto the pages and the new South African flag. the text, also drawn on the steel, comes from my writings during the trip about that joyous and uncertain moment of transition. |
